Our goals, our dreams, our wishes shape our mentality. Oftentimes society wishes to twist our mentality and make us something that we are not. From the time that we take our first breath in this broken world the tugging starts and we start the journey to find the way through the maze of life. There is no shortcut to understanding the world. God created us to love him and to love others, but that does not seem to work in a world in need of repair. Emily Dickinson had a dream, but the world did not allow her to achieve it. It kept fighting against her, but she fought back as she strove to understand the world. There is a quote that states that "The pen is mightier then the sword." Writing is a way of expressing oneself. In any form of expression you learn more about the world in which we live and how to improve it.
