Words are truly powerful things. An unkind word can scar you for years. However, a kind word can give you hope. Although it may seem that the unkind words outnumber the kind ones, there are always people who care for you. The people who care are the ones who spread kindness. Those who do not often want to build themselves up to try to experience a joy that they can only get by being nice. It does not work, but that is the way that the world dictates joy to us. Joy, in a worldly view, is seen as stepping on others to feel better about yourself. It may not seem like that sometimes, but it is true.
